I spent an evening fixing up a few things - the lighting on the hairline, fixing the mouth and chin (added a cleft), some of the shadows on the shirt and neatened up the trousers as well as some general 'polishing'. I also repainted the shotgun as I wasn't happy with the metallics.
I have to thank Chris again for sending this to me, Kev's sculpts really are a pleasure to paint and I couldn't have asked for a better miniature to get me back into painting after such a long break.
Pure awesomeness Arjay!
ReplyDeleteOh my, you certainly haven't lost your touch. I'm so glad to see you picking up the brush again.
ReplyDeleteIt's great to see some old faces around the place. Funnily enough, I looked at the CMoN supporters pages the other day. I'm number 2 and you're number 3, registering back in 2003.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the positive feedback also, it's much appreciated and will definitely keep me motivated.
You're welcome Russ. Thank you! So happy to learn that I made a good choice when selecting a mini to send ya. I actually put quite a bit of thought into it. Hehe ~ aren't you glad I didn't send you an 8-piece, super brittle, highly detailed Rackham miniature! Rock on man! Ray's lookin' rad!!
