Work conspired to keep me away from the brushes recently but I finally got some time to myself over the weekend and managed to get a reasonable amount done.I initially wasn't sure if this figure was a great choice after such a long break from painting but in retrospect I think it was the best possible choice. It's such an amazing sculpt and very pleasant to paint - the perfect choice for someone getting back into the swing of things...
Just the metallics, a bit of polishing and then, of course the base to do now. Not sure yet what I'll come up with but I guess there's no rush - 6 weeks of convalescent leave coming up due to an ankle reconstruction so plenty of painting time coming up...
